Check over stored Begonia Pelargoniums

If growing Lettuce check the plants over for disease.

Insulate greenhouses & coldframes

Check over stored Dahlias

Clean and check propagator,soil warming cables and greenhouse lighting system if fitted.

Fetch potted Convallaria in to flower indoors

Check heating systems & electrics and maintain as necessary

Pot up Amaryllis

Keep an eye on  low temperatures, high humidity and air circulation

Red spider mite can be a problem indoors.

Prevent pot plants foliage becoming entangled.

Hippeastrum bulbs that are in bud or flower should be placed in a well lit position.

Start potted Osteospermum into growth

Pot back fuchsia plants if not done prior to placing them in winter storage.

Pot up Gardenia seedlings

For an early crop of Strawberries fetch a few plants into the greenhouse for forcing.

Again for an early crop, plant potatoes in a 250mm pot.

Check over Gladioli corms.

Untie Grape rods to encourage even breaking of shoots .
