For information on what to do in your garden this week!

Week 36 - 2nd to 8th

Prepare ground for Black,Red & White currants.

Prepare the planting site for Grape vines.

Plant out strawberry runners.

Pot up a few strawberry plants for forcing in greenhouse.

Check around the base of your fruit trees for windfalls, lift and use / dispose of as necessary.

Note; Windfalls are a good sign that the fruit is mature.

Week 37 - 9th to 15th

Prune Pears grown as cordons or espaliers.

Week 38 - 16th to 22nd

Protect Apple trees from winter moth caterpillars.

Plant out new Strawberry stock, and runners that were taken in July.

Week 39 - 23rd to 29th

Continue picking Apples &  Pears as they ripen and place in store.
