Faq's on; Kalanchoe

l have a Kalanchoe diossfeldiana growing in a pot, how do I look after it in the winter .

Keep your kalanchoe plant in a well lit, cool room or a frost-free greenhouse for the winter.

The flower buds will only develop in short days of about eight hours.

During this time the plants must be kept in total darkness.

If you can't keep your room dark, cover the plant for eight hours in every 24 hours with a black polythene bag.
