An evergreen indoor perennial, that flowers between May and August.
Grow in 150mm (6") diameter pots, containing a compost equal to John Innes No 2 .
Water the plants regularly when in full growth, but less frequently in winter.
They should be lightly misted at least 3 or 4 times a week, alternatively, stand the pot on a plant saucer of moist grit, but on no account allow the pot to actually stand in water or the roots may rot.
Feed with a high potash feed at ten day intervals from March (Week 12) until September, and half strength once a month during winter months.
They prefer a lightly shaded position in summer with relatively high humidity, and maximum light in winter.
Ideal temperatures are; 21°-24°C(70°-75°F) in summer, and 13°-16°C (55°-60°F) in winter.
Re-pot annually in April (Week 16)
