| Leafbud cutting |
This is similar to an Eye cutting, except that it is taken when the plant is in leaf and the leaf is left on to give nourishment during the rooting process.
Remove the leaf from the stem immediately behind the leafbud and insert in the compost, put in a propagator and root at a temperature of 16°- 18°C(60°- 65°F)
Example; Camellia japonica.
