Heel Cuttings

Select a semi- hardwood or hardwood cutting, gently pull it off the main stem so that it detaches with a 'heel' of old wood.

Trim the heel to around 25mm (1") then treat as semi-hardwood cutting.


Select cutting material	Tear cutting from main stem	Heel cutting	Trim heel	Remove bottom leaves
