An easy to grow evergreen greenhouse / house plant, they will tolerate most living-room conditions, but do best in light shade.
Water freely in summer and wash the leaves occasionally.
Give a monthly feed of weak liquid fertiliser in summer.
Week 12; Every second or third year re-pot plant/s into fresh John Innes potting compost No. 2 or its equivalent.
This is an opportune time to divide and replant the roots.
If large plants are wanted, pot on into 250mm (10”) diameter pots
Week 44; In winter keep the plant/s at around 7-10°C (45-50°F), keeping the compost just moist.
