A tender deciduous evergreen trailing / climbing perennial.
It can grow to around 2.5 m (8ft) and is often grown as an annual in the UK.
Best suited to well drained soil in sun or partial shade, it can also be used as a container plant.
The flowers that appear in summer are not dissimilar to those of antirrhinum and come in a variety of colours.
Remove spent flowers and seed pods to prolong flowering.
Week 6; Sow seed in pots / trays of seed compost and germinate at a temperature of 21°-26°C (70°-80°F)
Germination should take around 10-14 days
Week 9; Prick out into 70mm (3”) pots of potting compost and gradually harden off in a cold frame until planting out time.
Week 20; Plant out against a wall or trellis.
