Ajuga

Common name; Bugle

Aspect

 

 

Ajuga; is a ground-cover or rockery plant that is often grown more for its variegated leaves, than its flowers.

 

It grows to around 150-300mm (6”-12”) high.

 

It flowers in a wide range of colours e.g. blue, pink, purple, white and bi-colours that appear in June/July.

 

Plant out at any time of the year in any moist partially shaded situation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Don’t let it dry out.

 

Cut it back after flowering to maintain a tidy clump/s

 

Divide the plant any time between weeks 20 and 40
